Four Tips To Strengthen Your Memory

Your memory does not magically improve without some effort on your part. These four tips take a bit of practice and focus. However, the dividends outweigh the time it takes to make them habitual.
1. Let's say that you believe, and constantly remind yourself, that you are terrible at remembering names. Ask yourself:
a) Did you focus intently on the person as they introduced themselves? Did you correctly hear their name?
b) Did you repeat their name back to them?
c) Make a remark about the name. (It is the same as a friend's name, or you never heard that name before, and so forth.)
d) Did you associate something ridiculous and memorable to their face that will help you remember their name? For example, let's say that their name is Noseworthy. You may imagine a huge nose on their face; it's worthy of being noticed. As absurd as this may sound, the mind loves to think in pictures. The more ludicrous the association is then the easier it is to remember.
e) Be courageous, and introduce them to a colleague.
f) Use their name more than once in conversation. (Don't overdo it.)
e) Use their name when you leave.
2. Suppose that you want to buy food for supper. You are great at writing lists; you are terrible at leaving your lists at home, or misplacing them. Here is a simple tip. Chunk your list of items into categories. The mind loves to chunk things and finds it easier to recall.
a) Dairy: milk, butter, eggs
b) Vegetables: beans, carrots, beets
c) Meat: hamburger, chicken, steak
3. How do you remember how to spell difficult words? For this example, you may pick the word "believe". Did you learn in school, "Never beLIEve a LIE?"
The same idea works for piece-"a PIEce of PIE".
This applies to remembering how to spell similar words.
"To be stationAry is to stAnd still, or "To use stationEry is to writE a lEtter".
"A princiPAL at a school is your PAL, and a principLE you believe is a ruLE".
Have you used these?
4. Let's say that you are studying for an exam, and that you have to memorize the periodic table of elements. Research the mnemonic used to memorize it. Chances are that someone has creatively come up with a mnemonic for most things that you are studying. Don't try to reinvent the wheel. Do what works.
Never believe that because you are older that your memory has declined. It is not a matter of age, but rather a matter of use. Pride yourself on practicing these four approaches. Friends and family may comment on how much your memory has improved!
Best wishes.

How To Manifest Anything! -Very Powerful Tool! (Law Of Attraction)

Forgiveness: An Important Key to Unleash the Law of Attraction

Negative energy blocks the flow of positive energy; so in a similar fashion, negative emotions hinder positive events from entering into our lives. Realizing this, and the fact that it is impossible to prevent negative events (i.e. life challenges) from entering our lives altogether - or else there would be no point for a spirit to incarnate if it were never challenged - how can we limit the amount of time negative emotions have an impact on our daily lives?
Negative energy generally involves pain, and pain is often associated with anger and hard feelings; regret for having conducted some action or having been the recipient of a painful action by others. This usually means there is an event that we, as humans, did not like and our fixation on that event creates a well of negative energy that continues to affect our lives and blocks our ability to attract positive energy moving forward as we fixate on that negative event from our past (or present).
The best way to release the pain and negative energy we harbor from the past is to forgive, meaning we must forgive both those people and situations that hurt us, but more importantly we must also forgive ourselves. This may sound counterintuitive, but we cannot give to others what we, ourselves, do not possess. If we don't forgive ourselves, then we cannot forgive others. Similarly, we cannot love others if we don't love ourselves. (Sure, we might feel infatuation and desire or even jealous possession, but we won't feel true, unconditional love.) You can extend this out to just about any positive emotion: We can only feel proud of others when we feel healthy pride of ourselves. And we can only feel respect towards others when we respect ourselves. In this way, we share good, positive emotions and energy by extending the positive feelings that we hold for ourselves to enrich the lives of the people and world around us. But let's return to the discussion of overcoming energy blocks.
Just as our bodies will heal physical injuries, our consciousness wants to heal emotional injuries as well. We can heal those inner, emotional injuries by releasing the pent-up negative energy surrounding those injuries. We accomplish this release of negative energy by forgiving. In order to forgive, we must face the issue and own it. We must acknowledge that the challenge, no matter how painful, served a purpose for our soul's development during our life plan. However, we assert that from this point forward the negative energy associated with that event, which we have been carrying around with us - perhaps for far too long - no longer serves our developmental needs. We therefore choose to leave the situation behind and, in doing so, we first THANK the universe for the lesson imparted, then forgive ourselves and the people or events surrounding the pain, and finally, we envision a release of connectionsbetween our current state and the past, both the event and the people. We no longer have a need to fixate on those painful memories of the past because they have served their purpose and we have forgiven and released the negative energy. By releasing the connections, we relieve our mind from continuing to fixate on the past and allow the negative energy block to be released (or at least bypassed) so positive energy can again enter our lives.
Forgiveness is a gift that we give to ourselves. It releases us from a pain-filled past, allows positive emotions to once again enter our lives, and enables us to shape our abundant and successful tomorrows. Therefore, don't underestimate the power of forgiveness.

How To Be Successful In Life - The Underlying Principles of Success

Everyone wants to achieve the highest level of success. However, reaching that desirable level of success is not as easy as most of us perceive. To be successful, you have to sacrifice and forego majority of life's pleasures. Below is a list of seven guaranteed ways to be successful in life.
1. Do what you love
Unfortunately, most of us end up settling for jobs or careers that do not offer maximum satisfaction. Put simply, it is important to understand your passion and pursue it with all your energy and resources. The greatest regret held by a majority of the elderly is settling for what they did not love. To avoid having regrets on most of your early life decisions, be sure to pursue your passion. Doing what you love will ensure you remain passionate and highly motivated in your day to day activities regardless of the income. Be sure to discover your true purpose and work hard to achieve your goals.
2. Identify with a successful individual
As you look to achieve your dreams and initially set goals, ensure you remember that success has no secret recipe. It is advisable to identify with a successful person in your field of interest, and do whatever your mentor does to achieve his or her level of success. Once you have a role model or a mentor you associate with, it becomes easier to emulate the positive traits while learning from your mentor`s mistakes. Pick up the positive habits and ensure you avoid the mistakes made by your role model. By emulating a successful person, you increase your chances of succeeding exponentially.
3. Anticipate failure of disappointment
Good things never come easy, and if they do, then they probably won't last. Do not anticipate a smooth sailing in your journey to success. Instead, be ready to pick yourself up whenever you experience failure or disappointment. After all, successful people are characterized by their ability to remain hopeful even in their greatest disappointments. Therefore, regardless of how many times you fail, ensure you remain optimistic and confident in your ability to succeed.
4. Practice makes perfect
No one can succeed without commitment and adequate practice. To achieve the highest level of success in your respective field, it is necessary to take your time to practice until your skills become flawless. Contrary to popular belief, success is attained by maintaining a high level of consistency. Thus, to enjoy success, you must be willing to put time into strengthening your skills through constant practice.
5. Plan
Unfortunately, most of us assume that success happens overnight. However, success more often than not occurs as a result of adequate planning and organization. To achieve your set goals and targets, it is crucial to have a plan that will act as a guide. Successful people know what to do and when to do things; they just don't go about doing everything simultaneously. As a result, be sure to take your time and adequately plan for all your milestones. Set a schedule and observe it to the latter. Once you have a plan in place, it will be possible to measure your progress and consequently ensure that everything goes according to plan.
6. Be true to yourself
As you embark on your journey to success, it is necessary to understand that the biggest obstacle to success is yourself. Procrastination never helps; in fact, all it does is rob you off the time that you would otherwise utilize to achieve your goals. Therefore, ensure you are hard on yourself. That is, avoid procrastinating or letting yourself off the hook whenever you lack the motivation to do an important activity. Without self-discipline, it is impossible to achieve your set goals.
7. Enjoy the journey
Always keep in mind that everyone has an independent journey and purpose. Avoid comparing yourself to others as aimless comparisons can derail your development. Be patient and ensure you reward yourself every time you achieve your goals or initially set milestones. Indeed, it is only through self-love and appreciation that you can achieve the highest level of success. As such, give yourself treats and rewards that match your achievements. Remember, if you do not appreciate your achievements, no matter how small, then no one else will.
